Snow: The Story of Aerowyn bren Moira Kelta

What's New?
What is Snow?
The better question to ask is who is Snow. Snow is Dr. Aerowyn bren Moira, of the family line Carbaer, of the First House of Kelta. Quite the name, I know. But this is a science fiction novel, so fancy names are almost required. She's also the lovely young lady in the painting to the left.
SF novel? Yep. Knowing that I'd never have the fortitude to try to get this thing published for real, I've decided to take the labor of 15 years and put it up here for anyone to read for free. A story isn't worth anything unless it's told. So, I'm going to tell this one.
This is more than just a story, however. This is also a repository for 15 years worth of notes, sketches, vingettes, and assorted data relating to the fictional realm of Kymria. In addition to the Appendix--which will house all the extraneous data, as well as a gallery of all the sketches--the novel itself has a little bonus feature: Text that looks like thisHey, look! A little box with extra information! or this will pop up extra information or pictures over in the left-hand column. NOTE: This feature does not work with Microsoft Internet Explorer. It does work with every other browser I've tested. For those of you using MS IE, the special text will act as a normal link directing you to the Firefox homepage. I encourage you to take a look at (and switch over to) the Firefox browser. If you stick with Internet Explorer, you will, however, be able to read then entire text, and see all the information in the appendix.
The story of Snow takes up 3 distinct books; Mercer's Green, Gold Coast, and Empire. For various reasons, I'm going to be posting book 2 first. My goal is to have a new chapter up every week--complete with all the little extra bits of information hyperlinked in. I'll also be adding to the Appendix and the gallery randomly. I have reams of notes and sketches.
So come back every week and read some more. Check out the new info in the Appendix and pics in the gallery. And let me know what you think. Feedback is certainly appreciated. You can send e-mail to "webmaster" at this domain: dragonflydreams.org. If there's enough interest, I'll set up a feedback page or a forum or something. In regards to feedback: I was my own editor on this (any experienced editors want to take a crack at it?) so feel free to point out any spelling errors and such. However, don't bother telling me how to write. I won't pay attention. :)
